Lydia had seen a video on Korean barbecue, and it looked fun! Maybe with less alcohol than in the video. She didn't trust some of you not to catch yourselves aflame. But fun! So she had made inquiries of the tiny internet in her phone, and instructed the Supper Club to meet her this time in the suburbs of Baltimore for a Korean barbecue and hot pot dinner.

She didn't know what a hot pot was, actually. But she was looking forward to finding out.

Well, at least Henry had snapped out of the 'what the hell big city' daze early this time.

"So it's soup?" he checked. "Or is it... stew?"

"It's hot pot!" Lydia exclaimed, which was to say that she hadn't the faintest clue which of those it was more like and she was just going with it.

Henry blinked. "But hot stew pot or hot soup pot?" he tried, as if that would get him more precise results.

"Haven't a clue!" Lydia admitted cheerfully. "There's also Korean barbecue, which is very different from the kind I saw on Sainte Josephine."

"I realize I am repeating myself, but I don't know what barbecue is either," Henry said. "Is it related to pizza?"

"I don't think so," Lydia said. "I believe barbecue is from the Americas, or at least that's where I first encountered the concept. Korea is in Asia, though. And pizza is from Italy." She was solid on that one. Mr. Raiden had been very clear.

Please stop trying to make hot-cool jokes when you barely understood what cool meant, Henry.

"I mean because of the hot pot," Henry clarified, utterly killing his own sad attempt at a joke. "Though I'm still a bit lost on what it's meant to contain..."

Rey was probably one of those people! Though clothes shopping had been fine!

And the suburbs were new for her. Finding her way here was a little more challenging than just going to Baltimore, but not too bad. And with it for whatever hot pot turned out to be.

"Miss Skywalker, good evening," Lydia greeted her. "Apparently we shall be cooking our own food tonight. Like a little adventure."

"It's an experience, apparently," Lydia explained.

"Good evening, everyone," said the man who had definitely not threatened an Uber driver at knife point (because he didn't know how to call an Uber. Otherwise it probably would've happened). "It smells interesting."

Well, they'd gotten him to stop stabbing cars (mostly. probably.) so they could work on how to not get banned from Uber next.
