Room 303, Saturday Afternoon

With fall approaching, Lydia had decided to take an afternoon (since it wasn't like there was anything else going on in town today that might have drawn her attention) to go through her wardrobe to evaluate which of the dresses she already had from last winter could be made over to be more in line with local, modern fashions, and to make any repairs or minor alterations she had been putting off.

The door to her room was closed, as some things needed to be tried on to see if they still fit properly, and while she doubted anyone would knock she would be most pleased to answer if they did, provided, of course, that she was modest.
