It would seem as though Thursdays were now quite the culinary endeavor for Ignis, between the offerings for Liliana's students for her class, followed by Dr. Lecter's class, and now supper club. And, quite frankly, he couldn't be happier about it. It also made tonight's selection particularly well made, as the fare could easily lean toward lighter after such a hefty selection as offered in his earlier lesson.

And, of course, as always, the company was considerably exceptional.

If Rey looked shell shocked by the menu, it was because she'd gotten to the prices on the mains, and was cheap. It wasn't that she couldn't afford it, it was that she couldn't understand why.

Getting off island taught her things sometimes.

"Professor Scientia, welcome!" Lydia greeted him. "Always lovely to see you, sir!"

"I may not have realized this place was quite so posh," Lydia murmured to Rey, an admission she would have made to few people here. She wasn't so concerned about the prices, since she had the economic sense of a lemon, as, "I do hope no one feels too out of place." She was fine, as her usual mode of dress read as 'dressed up' in most settings, but she didn't want anyone else to feel uncomfortable.

Rey wasn't uncomfortable, but she did feel underdressed. But she wasn't really able to do much about it with what she had at home, so underdressed also didn't bother her.

"I'm sure it's fine. It is nice to experience it," she said. "I don't really go to fancy places normally."

Liliana was in an excellent mood this evening. She thought her first class had gone very well, even without a scenario to throw them into. So she was perusing the menu with delight; clearly it was a good day to treat herself.

(In fairness, all days were good days to treat herself.)

"And what did you think of class today?" Liliana asked, doing her usual honeysuckle twine around Ignis.

"Is anything here worth the price?" Rey murmured.

"Darling, are you quite all right?" asked Liliana 'You Look At The Prices?' Vess.

"Yes," Rey said, nodding as she looked up. "The menu's just not what I expected."

Adrian was examining the menu and wondering if people would be willing to go in on a bunch of appetizers and sides with him. Like a tapas thing, and also because that would be much cheaper than some of the mains.

But everything did look damn good.

"In what way?" Liliana asked. "Are you not familiar with Levantine cuisine?"

"It's the fifty dollars part," she said. "I didn't realize people spent that much on a meal."

"Your thoughts?" Rey asked. Hoping for guidance from people on the prices? Maybe.

"It will be a nice change of pace!" Lydia agreed. "I just do realize most people like to be aware in advance the pace is being changed." Her mother was an excellent hostess, and had taught her daughters at least that one skill.

"Miss Vess," Lydia said. "Good evening. Lovely to see you again." Even if Lydia still felt as if she should have grill marks from earlier.

"Mr. Blackwood!" Lydia exclaimed. "How lovely to see you, sir! I trust Mr. Boston is well, as well?"

"Are there any other changes of pace you'd like to do?" Rey asked.

From:

"Oh, I don't know," Lydia said. "I thought it might be fun to do an afternoon tea sometime. Have you ever been to one of those? I had it in Canada, it was lovely. Or perhaps one of those late breakfasts where they serve alcohol." Brunch, Lydia. It was called brunch. "I do know those aren't supper, and thus against the mandate of the club," she admitted, "but it sounds like such fun!"

"I've never done either of those," Rey told her. "And we've done ice cream and a bar, I'm sure brunch will be fine."

"I still can't believe Mr. Logan took you all to a bar whilst I was unavailable," Lydia said apologetically. "Do they even serve food there?"
