Lydia had in effect spun the wheel and landed on Korean food this week, which she was both excited and nervous about as it was entirely new to her. Hopefully one of the other supper clubbers would have some familiarity to share...especially once it became apparent you were supposed to cook the food, as she was at present completely ignorant to that.

She did hope everyone was able to find the place without any trouble. Perhaps she should start arranging portals? Something to think about.

"That's why we're here," Rey smiled. "I also keep thinking about whether it's worth seeing if anyone would want to go anywhere after dinner when we come out here."

"Oh!" Lydia exclaimed. "I hadn't thought about that, but that's a splendid idea! I'm sure there's all sorts of fun to be found."

"It's Adrian's idea." Again, credit/blame. "I'm just not sure what to do. I don't exactly get out much."

"Oh, then we must get you out more," Lydia decreed. "Are you particular friends with Mr. Blackwood, then?"

It was probably for the best for Rey that Lydia wasn't the matchmaking sort of gossip.

"No more than anyone wise here, I think," she said. "I think he's just encouraging."

"I wouldn't have said so, but then, he did encourage me to go fight the dragon that tried to eat me when I was fifteen," Lydia mused.

No, she still wasn't over that. She was also still rather hoping that if she ignored the problem long enough it would go away.

"But it's lovely that he encourages you in more pleasant pursuits!" It showed there was hope for Adrian after all, if you asked Lydia.

"He seemed to think it was a good idea, when obviously it is not," Lydia scoffed.

That might not be exactly how that conversation had gone, but, you know, Lydia.
