Lydia had, during her research for a restaurant for this week's supper club, remembered how nice the food had been in Vietnam in her class last semester...and possibly also how warm it had been in Vietnam. Alas, the conditions had not been replicated for her, but hopefully the pho would warm everyone up? So she had sent a message to everyone who usually came (and hopefully anyone new who might want to join in had gotten word somehow) to meet her at Pho Bac at the appointed hour.
