So last week's class had been somewhat... personally revealing in a few ways. So when Dean tried to send a message to Navaan it definitely went to the wrong place.

Look, I don't regret anything about that night when we flanged but I'd really appreciate it if you didn't bring it up in front of the girl I'm seeing in class tomorrow. Cool?

Eleanor was likely spending about ten minutes staring at her phone, a half hour wanting to hide under her bed forever. And probably just as long typing out a response to the baffling message sent by Kamala, because she still didn't have a good grasp on texting yet, murmuring the words as she typed them out.

What romantic feelings are you talking about? What previous text?

There was a deep breath as she almost addresses the body situation, but, at the last second, chickened out and left it at that.

Dropped off at Lydia's mailbox in the dorm was a box with her name on it.

Inside was a batch of delicious chocolate chip cookies (the secret ingredient is nutmeg), a batch of nan khatai cookies,mix mithai and... six pairs of athletic socks.

It was care package time again and Kamala's parents had once again sent small packages to not only Kamala but also her friends as well.

One was of course specifically for Lydia. Inside she would find some spiced tea, barfi (which tastes better than it sounds) and some gulab jamun. Additionally there was a small wooden box that contained a watch with a colorful dupatta. Along with a note:

I hope you are doing well on the island! Kamala's texts tell me that everyone is fine and doing well but as usual it lacks the details a mother truly needs to know. Regardless please enjoy some of the treats, they are some of Kamala's favorites. Also her Nani recently send some of her old belongings to us and decided to pass one of them along to you as a small gift. The dupatta belonged to her Nani Amma which she wore before her family took them to Pakistan during the Partition. We thought it fitting for such a fine young woman such as yourself.
