Spring Cafe, Baltimore, Maryland, Thursday Evening
Did Lydia know where the nation of Afghanistan could be found on a map? Not at all! Was that going to stop her from picking an Afghan restaurant for Supper Club this week? Also not at all! And everything smelled fantastic, which had led her to decide she'd chosen correctly before even trying a bite.
Assuming other people liked it, that was...
Welcome to Supper Club, everyone who found their way to this corner of Baltimore!

Did you hear laughing? Weird. For a moment it sounded like somebody was laughing.
"And yourself, darling?"
Re: Arrive and Mingle
"Spring is a busy time for a witch, you know," Lydia said. "There are flowers and herbs and such that need to be gathered at the proper times, and rites to observe and such." And her wardrobe to refresh. That was also very important!

He also understood it to be more of a tea culture, but he would try not to hold that against them.
The absolute squandering of a potentially thriving wine culture, especially with its climate and history, however, well....
Just don't get him started.
Either way, he was mostly certainly here and eager to explore.

"Professor Scientia, good evening, sir," Lydia greeted him. "Are you familiar with Afghanistan?" Someone had to be, right?...right?

But he was going to give her a withering look, which was just about nearly his version of defiantly sulking harder in light of being told not to, but then chased it away with an amused huff.
"I was already rather planning on wedging exactly that into the schedule," he said, although wedging anything in a schedule set by Liliana was like trying to fit a toy car in the Grand Canyon. "That small operation had actually taken up quite a bit of the conversation during my last appointment with your dear accountant."

Which would surely be very run-of-the-mill and downright boring, of course!
"And yourself? Has the week been treating you well?"

"Good evening, everyone."
Re: Arrive and Mingle
"Captain Flint! Good evening, sir!" Lydia tried to be surreptitious about glancing over his shoulder and out the door to make sure the local automobiles remained unstabbed.
