Harbor Tandoor, Baltimore, Maryland, Thursday Evening

The food of India was not, of course, unknown in Lydia's time, but it was the sort of thing one found at a very few establishments in London, not in the likes of Meryton, so she was rather excited about today's destination for Supper Club.

She was less excited about the anticipated spice levels, but she was sure she would be able to find things on the menu that wouldn't burn her delicate English taste buds off.

She had sent out a message with their destination well in advance, so hopefully everyone would be able to find the place, and inform anyone new who might want to come along of where they could be found.

Welcome to Supper Club, everyone!

Oh dear.

"Do you know what level of spice you can tolerate, darling?" Liliana asked. "You can start there as a baseline."

All those wars over spices just to ignore them...

"Oh, very little," Liliana said. "I'm learning about this plane in a very haphazard fashion. How did you use spices?"

"Ah," Liliana said. "So they were reserved for special occasions only?"

Somewhere, a shiver just ran down Ignis' spine.

Wait, did that mean poor people had even less of a spice tolerance than Lydia did? The horrors.

"So which spices graced your table?" Liliana asked. "Since it does seem like it was not enough of an inclusion to get you used to them."
